Maker's Circle

One of the most commonly known practices of collaboration in drawing is a game coined by the Surrealists, “Exquisite Corpse” in 1925. In this game, each person creates a section of the drawing without being able to see what the other players have done. This game, like this workshop harnesses the simple power of drawing or mark-making as a tool for exploring and reflecting on the ways we work together.

Individuals will be introduced to a variety of mark making tools and techniques to use throughout to workshop to create collaborative compositions. Through one-on-one partnership, simultaneous collaboration and goal oriented teamwork participants will gain perspective on the team-working habits of themselves and others.

This workshop can be tailored to groups of any sizes and working on all fields, if you think your team would benefit from it, please email us and we'll be happy to send you a curriculum.
